Arindam Dutta is passionately involved in
Innovation and Incubation for the past 12
years first as Advisor to Science &
Technology Park at Indian Institute of
Technology, Kharagpur where he guided the
institution for 5 years. From 2003 he is
Advisor & CEO of two Incubation facilities
in Kolkata, West Bengal India. In these 12
years he has mentored nearly 20 successful
start ups in various fields whose combined
turnover is $ 700,000.00. Many of these
are non-IT organizations..
Arindam is a first generation entrepreneur
38 years in business, as diverse as
manufacturing, services and trading. The
type of business ranges from office
automation to health services.
In November 2007 he attended the Global
Faculty Colloquium at the Walter Haas
Business School, Berkeley. There of the 56
participants from 30 countries, he along
with another participant was invited as a
Judge for the Finals of Intel+Berkeley
Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge 2007
(Wall Street Journal Rates this
competition as one of the Three Top
Competitions in its category, in the
world).
He has given talks on ' Building
Enterprise in the Knowledge Domain' at
various universities across the world,
including Berkeley, New York State
University at Binghamton and Adelphi New
York.
He has a Masters in Physics (specialization ESR) from BHU, Varanasi and
a Diploma in Work Study from National
Institute of Training in Industrial
Engineering, Powai, Mumbai an Institute
founded by the Government of India and ILO.
